* Note on some cars the right front upper control arm will hit the shock or bulb. If more control arm clearance is needed, order your right front shock with a 5350 small diameter bulb.  (G3S7#-# Shock).

 

* In some cases you can increase the rebound in the right front shock to help the car turn in and thru the middle of the corner.  * But in some situations you will get loose and lose traction from the middle of the corner and off so other adjustments will have to be made to get traction back off the corner.

 

* In some cases you can increase the rebound in the left rear in front of the axle to slow down the movement timing and loosen the car on corner entry.

 

* For cars with rear dropped shock mounts on rear you may need to order a G3E95D for the extended length.

 

 * With the G3 Double Adjustable shock use part number G3S7BRD for Big Rebound beyond 8 rebound with 7” small bulb.

 * With the G3 Double Adjustable shock use part number G3S07BRD for Big Rebound beyond 8 rebound with 7” small bulb with off set eyering.


  • We highly recommend that you check with your chassis builder for their latest  recommendations as technology changes very frequently.

  • Some cars run a shock in front of the left rear to control the motion on acceleration and braking like a G194-0 or G194-0 for Sweeping corner tracks and G196-0 or a G196-2 for tighter corner tracks. And on slick tracks where hunting for traction some cars use a dummy shock G190. Adjust your gas pressure accordingly any where from 50 psi to 200 psi.

  • Always check the travel on all shocks for rebound extension and compression travel as some cars need a 2" shock extensions in some applications in that case order a G3E see lengths below.

  • Also available in the G1 series are standard valvings like G175, G176, G194 and G195 and so on.
  • All Genesis Shocks have Schrader valves so you can adjust the gas pressure. You can run anywhere from 30 psi up to 200 psi always use Nitrogen.

The G3 is a mono - tube double adjustable it's available in 5" - 6" - 7" - 8" and 9" stroke and any possible valving or split valving.

 

The G3 has a fully anodized aluminum body with a large built-on gas reservoir. This increases the volume of gas the shock will hold, which lowers the unwanted increase in rod pressure that comes with stroke.

 

The G3 is completely rebuildable - revalvable.
